Sat 16 Nov 2013 - Fiona and Peter at Ballarat

It was so lovely to see Fiona and Peter again and to visit them at their place. 

We also caught up with Fiona's son Michael and his daughter Katie who came over to see us - unfortunately we didn't get to see Jen as she was caring for their other daughter Abigail who was ill.

They took us up to the lookout and showed us some more pretty places on the way home.  On the lake were fishermen's boat cottages, a paddle steamer and a rowing course.  Ballarat's a gracious old City, with lots of trees and parks.

We went by Fiona's  beautiful workplace where she works as a physiotherapist.

Pete showed us round the Deutcher factory where he manufactures amazing mowers, chippers and also automated medical beds (some of which fold for convenience of moving and storage).

Having had a meal together and spent time catching up on each other's news then, when it got late, we slept over in their spare room.
