Thurs 21 Nov 2013 - Viv & Gra’s Place at North Ringwood

We woke late and found that it was a warm and sunny day. Viv & Gra had to go to work, so we caught up with a few domestic chores and then went out to Blackburn, where Rodger lived when he was little and where Peter was born. Sadly the house had been pulled down and replaced with units.

After a spot of shopping, Rodger had his hair cut and then went to a pretty place called Warrandyte, because the barber told Rodger they have the best sausage rolls in the area. If that's true then Rodger feels sorry for them, as the sausage roll did not rate at all! However, the trip wasn't wasted because we saw a berry farm, pulled in to get some strawberries for dessert, and saw that they had fresh strawberry milkshakes and dairy free smoothies which were absolutely delicious.

When Viv & Gra came home, we had a delicious dinner of salmon and baked veg and a gluten free choc cake with the strawberries and blueberries that we bought at the farm. They have a very beautiful old home much of which Gra has built.
