Today we got up early to do another walk to El
Questro Gorge. The road to the start of the walk included 2 creek crossings and
one was long and deep. We didn't know if our car could make it so we waited
until another car came along and watched them go through, to see how deep it
was. It was up to the top of the wheels so we decided to give it a go and all
was well. We also decided we didn't want to do it again tomorrow, so we'd do
both the walks that started along this road today!

We headed for the next walk, Moonshine Creek,
which was also described in the brochure as shady. Unfortunately, this was not
so, and as the heat built up to 38C it became hard work as, again, it was
mostly rock hopping. However, we saw lots of butterflies and many shimmering
dragonflies of bright blue, red and green and there were swimming holes halfway
and at the end, so it was worth it.
