We decided to move on today but first, another
visit to Zebedee Springs. It was so lovely to lie there and let the water fall
and warm water revive our tired muscles! We just can't get over the fact that
all these beautiful places are on one property - imagine having all this in
your backyard!
We finally tore ourselves away and headed along
the unsurfaced road. It wasn't too corrugated as they were doing road works and
so it had been recently graded. It looks as if they're building a new bitumen
road from El Questro to the Pentecost River crossing. After the big creek
crossing yesterday, Rodger was concerned about us getting over the Pentecost
River. He spent some time last night making a bra to protect the engine out of
a tarp and some string.
When we got to the River we were amazed to see
that there were just 2 little puddles to drive through! It's tidal and we
obviously hit low tide. We were very thankful that it was a non-event.
We stopped at the next property, called Home Valley. We like it much better here, as it has a more relaxed atmosphere. We set up camp and quickly found the swimming pool. It had lots of horses and a great bar/dining room for relaxing in.

There aren't any BBQs so we
lit a camp fire and Rodger made us some delicious jaffles for dinner.
