We woke up early (we're 3 hours behind Sydney)
so that Rodger could ring his granddaughter, Sienna, for her 5th birthday.
Fortunately there's a Telstra phone box here, so he had no trouble getting
through. Afterwards, Rodger went off for a surf but I stayed at the caravan
park. It's a lovely place, like a National Park, with lots of trees and space
between camping spots. The trees near us are very pretty, some kind of gum tree
with small white flowers. Once again Rodger found there wasn't any surf here at
Gracetown so he went back to Yallingup and found good small waves and several
other guys in.
It was an overcast and cool day and when Rodger
came back, we had morning tea and then, we were so tired after our early
rising, and tennis game yesterday, that we went back to bed and slept until
2.30pm!
We had a late lunch and spent the rest of the
afternoon playing harp and guitar and Rodger phoned his Mum to organise the
guest list with her for her 90th Birthday party in Dec. This caravan park has a
big movie screen and tonight they showed a kid's animation movie called "Epic".
We enjoyed the whole experience of an open air movie, except that the evenings
are cool here so, in spite of a blanket over our legs, we were glad to jump
into bed with a hot cup of tea when it finished.
