During the night, the wind came up, so it
wasn't a good morning for surfing. We drove around the area, looking at the
beaches and seeing if there was some surf at a more sheltered spot.
One of them was called Smith's Beach and had
some very trendy holiday villas with a restaurant, deli and bottle shop.
We also passed a winery with a restaurant and Lodge accommodation called Sienna's (my granddaughter's name)!

When he came out for lunch, we talked to Andrew
& Bass and the boys and watched Joshua ( 6 months) trying some solid food.
We had a chat with Rodger's Mum and, a bit later, Tim and Jem. While we were
doing this, I looked up and noticed the weather vane was very appropriate to the area!
Rodger went back in for another surf and by
then the sun was setting, so we came to the other campsite in Yallingup, as
they have unpowered sites and are cheaper. Rodger was very tired after all his
activity, so he cooked our BBQ, had a shower and we decided to have an early
night. However, we were just having a cup of tea, when I got stung by a bee,
which had sneaked into the van without us noticing.
