Due to the new time and early daylight, we were
in the pool at 6.00am! It really is the most beautiful pool, designed to make
you feel like you're swimming in the Lake, which is alongside it - an infinity
pool.
Usually we struggle to be on our way by 10.00am
but today were off at 8.30am! Rodger had
a fish down by the dam wall and then we headed to Kurunurra.
Our first job was to vote, as we had organised
for our postal votes to come to the P.O here. They had already arrived so we
sent them off and now we're ahead of ourselves! By the time we'd organised a
pass for W.A National Parks (they're not free as they are in NT) and booked places
in the camping ground for the Bungles, it was too late to set off as the road’s
bad and it gets dark so early now. We renewed our fruit & veg supplies and
headed for the Lakeside camping ground. As there's Internet cover, we were able
to catch up with Tim and Andrew and their families and Rodger's mum on Skype.
It was lovely to see them all and catch up with their news.
There was just time for a quick dip in the pool
before the sun went down and the mozzies came out, and we dined on cold
sausages and salad - nice and easy, and updated the blog.
